Total Self Promotion!

Okay, if you all make it through the links, I’ll reward you with a picture of the kitten. Who still does not have a name. People are beginning to ask if I’ll be able to name babies, if I ever have one. :)

First, there are the Lucia’s Addict’s Choice Knit Blog Awards. You can nominate people. No one has nominated me. I mean, come on, who does pictures of stuffed animals better than I? No one, that is. It’s a small nitche, but I work it, dammit.

Second, you all must come meet me, Dee, Lynette, Laurel and many others at the Heartland Knitting Retreat this December. Laurel and I should hire ourselves out in exchange for alcohol and yarn - we are that entertaining.

Third, we need more patterns and essays for the Island of Misfit Patterns! I don’t care if you wrote them down on the back of a napkin. Send it in!

Okay, here’s a kitten picture for you. :)

Oh, and I’ll be at Stitches Midwest this Sunday morning. I won’t be buying anything. Much. I have the world’s smallest budget this year. Like, a 1.50, tops.

Awww, cute kitty! Did you spend more than $1.50 at Stitches :) I think if you move the decimal about three places to the right we’re at my total spend over the four days (no seriously, it’s not quite that bad.)

I think I’m doing this “blog” thing right. Just had my hair cut by your Mom, and she gave me the really cool “sample”. I studied and studied it and can’t figure out HOW or WHERE you started, but I AM impressed with the pattern. Maybe if I get better at this blogging, I will put a picture of Phil’s Pig Out BBQ and start writing about what we’ve been doing. Meantime, I am enjoying your ramblings…….um…..writings……

OOPS! I forgot to say “thanks” for what I’m going to use as a doily. N

It was great to see you at Stitches. We miss you and Dee and look forward to chatting with you guys. Your kitty looks like my Taz. Maybe we can make a play date for cats! Your knitting looks awesome, BTW. Waaayyyy beyond my current abilities. Someday….
